Welcome to our website and thank you for passing by. This website has been built as a labor of love, the board members that give unselfishly of their time, the volunteers that work hard to ensure all runs smoothly, the sponsors that provide us with raffle, food, and drink donations…. and of course YOU… the people who have helped us continue to make a difference in this ‘not-so-small’ section of Upper Manhattan known as Washington Heights.
There is always a choice… we deliberately CHOSE to put the grief and hurt of losing our loved one… my brother, our friend.. and refocused, rearranged that energy so it could be used towards something positive. It’s an act of willfulness, and while these events are not easy tasks to undertake… they are the kind of events that once accomplished, have the power to humble and center you. You appreciate how each and every gift, donation, service come together for good … what better way to honor his life…. to put grief to good works!
